arkeeper is preparing for an iPhone release in all available App Store countries. It is still being tested; public downloads and purchases are not open yet.
Getting started
Import from Photos or Files, use the free private camera, or create a note. Pro adds audio recording.
Choose a folder, name your files and find them again with search. Use Pro when you want to edit or mask faces.
Access and codes
The archive opens with your iPhone's authentication. If you chose an extra arkeeper code or folder codes, those are needed too.
Never share your recovery key or your codes with anyone — including support. We will never ask for them.
Backup and restore
Send the encrypted .arkivbackup file to the receiving iPhone with AirDrop or Files. In arkeeper, open Settings → Restore and choose the file. Then scan the recovery-key QR code on the source phone or paste the entire key.
Review the backup, then restore. The destination must have an empty archive and no saved bookmarks or logins; recovery does not replace an existing archive. Protected folders keep their codes. Keep your backup file and key somewhere safe.
Manual backups now include archive files, folders, notes and attachments, trash, protected-folder codes, saved browser bookmarks and saved logins. Older backups may not contain browser data.
Cookies, open browser pages and app settings are not included. Sign in to websites again after restoring. Keep the encrypted backup file and its separate recovery key; a lost key cannot be recovered.
Note links and the Home button
Keep text, links, images and documents together in an encrypted note. Tap a web address to open it in arkeeper’s browser, then use Home to return to the archive.
Browse inside arkeeper with your own bookmarks and saved logins, separate from Safari. Web addresses in notes open here too. Tap the arkeeper Home button to return to your archive while keeping your browser pages.
Locking the archive closes live pages. Websites can still recognize your network and the accounts you sign in to.
Pro and your saved content
The archive is free. Pro adds browsing, audio recording, editing and face masking. Planned Danish prices are 29 DKK monthly or 199 DKK yearly, billed once a year. Both unlock the same tools. Purchases are not open yet; App Store prices will vary by country.
If Pro expires, your saved files, notes, bookmarks and logins stay accessible. Opening, exporting, backing up and restoring your saved content remain free. Pro is needed to start new browser sessions, recordings and editing jobs.
At launch, subscriptions will be managed through Apple and renew automatically until cancelled. Restore Purchases restores Pro access, not archive files or recovery keys.
